Factory performance figures for the 997.2 Speedster are approximately 408 horsepower with 0–60 mph in the low 4-second range and a top speed around 190 mph, depending on specification. Underneath, the 997 chassis employs a MacPherson strut front suspension and multi-link rear layout with stabilizer bars, power rack-and-pinion steering, and full underbody paneling, while safety and convenience features include ABS, tire-pressure monitoring, LED daytime running lights, automatic climate control with active carbon filter, cruise control, keyless entry, and bi-xenon headlights with washers.

As equipped from new, the window sticker lists Pure Blue (M0) and  Black/Pure Blue leather seat trim (33), along with XM Radio (686) and a factory fire extinguisher (509), with an original MSRP of $101,500 and a total retail price of $103,340 including destination. The seller notes no known modifications. Carfax-reported maintenance in May 2025 indicates an oil and filter change, brake-fluid service, and a battery replacement, and the vehicle was also evaluated for a potential convertible-top concern with no faults found.
