1998 Bentley Continental R California Edition — 1 of 6

One of just six California Edition coupes produced, this 1998 Bentley Continental R is numbered five in the limited series combining exceptional rarity with commanding factory Mulliner widebody presence. Finished in Arctic White over Sandstone and Soft Tan leather upholstery, it shows an odometer reading of 49,803 miles, and monogrammed treadplate plaques identify its special-production status. A $20,000 whole-car repaint in its original color was completed in 2025, and comprehensive service records note exemplary upkeep under current and previous ownership.

Under the hood is Bentley’s turbocharged 6.75-liter V8, paired with a four-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Self-leveling suspension complements this Continental R’s grand-touring character, and gleaming exterior brightwork features red emblems and 18-inch five-spoke chrome wheels with matching center caps.
