1988 Porsche 944 Turbo S Silver Rose — 7,500 Miles

Debuting for the 1983 model year as the successor to the 928, the Porsche 944 drastically increased the performance potential of the brand’s transaxle platform. The 944’s qualities were elevated with the introduction of the 944 Turbo S, which brought key performance changes related to the 944 Turbo’s Porsche Cup variant - including a 30-horsepower increase to its four-cylinder powerplant via a bigger turbocharger, upgraded suspension, and a transmission oil cooler. 

 

This 1988 Porsche 944 Turbo S represents one of the few 944 Turbo S Coupes originally allocated for the US market for the 1988 model year. Further desirability is emphasized by the model-specific Silver Rose Metallic paint finish over a Burgundy interior with Cloth upholstery. The exterior is further defined with a set of forged aluminium ‘Clubsport’ wheels currently riding on semi-race grade Pirelli tires, power windows, electronically-tilting sunroof, heated/power adjustable side mirrors, and retractable headlights with integrated washers. 

 

The Burgundy Pink interior features both front and rear seats with chequered cloth upholstery, joined by a color-coordinated leather steering wheel and side door panels. Interior amenities include automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seats, Blaunkpunt ‘Reno’ radio system, automatic speed control, and central locking.  No major modifications reported highlight this example’s preservation to its original factory specification by past keepers. 

 

Under 7,600 miles are currently shown by the odometer. The OEM wheels currently mounted were refinished under current ownership and are now wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires. Original wheels with Continental tires are included.
