Featured here on Sotheby’s Motorsport is this 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe, representing the final evolution of the classic G-body 911: pairing timeless design with the robust and highly regarded 3.2-liter flat-six M930/21 series rear-mounted engine. 

 

Finished in Iris Blue Metallic, this 911 Carrera Coupe’s exterior is further defined by period-correct 16” forged ‘Fuchs’ alloy wheels all around, alongside a power sunroof, rear window wiper, and power windows. The interior is finished in Blue leather upholstery, extending to both power-adjustable seats, the steering wheel, and the leather gear shift boot. Amenities like cruise control, central locking, and air conditioning round off the interior of this Porsche. 

 

Modifications reported include the previous installation of Sachs front and rear shocks for elevated handling dynamics, and a Porsche Classic Communication Management Headunit for up-to-date in-car connectivity.
