1973 Porsche 911T Sportomatic

Offered here is an exceptionally well-preserved and highly desirable 1973.5 Porsche 911T Coupe equipped with the increasingly rare Sportomatic transmission, representing one of the final and most refined iterations of the long-hood 911. Finished as a U.S.-market example and accompanied by its original window sticker, this 911T has reportedly remained under continuous ownership for nearly 50 years before recently passing to only its second owner. The accompanying documentation, including its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, original invoice, manuals, service booklet, key code information, tool kit, jack, and spare wheel, further underscores the remarkable level of preservation and provenance accompanying this example.

The 1973.5 model year occupies a unique place in Porsche history as the first 911T to feature Bosch K-Jetronic Continuous Injection System (CIS) fuel injection, improving drivability and reliability while retaining the lightweight, engaging character that defines the early 911 experience. Delivered through South Shore Porsche-Audi of Hewlett, New York, the car carried a total retail price of $9,312.50 when new. The car is said to have been rustproofed when new.
