The limited-production CSX8000 series was announced in 2011 in celebration of the original CSX2000, and all 50 examples were reportedly sold within 48 hours of their introduction. Serialized CSX8950 through CSX8999, this particular car is number 37 of 50 and is listed in the Shelby Registry.
