Overview

Combining the iconic styling of Chevrolet’s first-generation Corvette with contemporary performance and engineering, this 1959 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod has undergone a comprehensive custom build emphasizing craftsmanship, drivability, and modern comfort. Finished in Metallic Gray and Silver with polished stainless steel and chrome brightwork, the exterior benefits from carefully tightened body gaps and a custom linear-actuated hood. A black Stayfast convertible top complements the exterior, while bespoke gray leather upholstery w/white contrast stitching, a billet steering wheel, and modified floorpans providing an additional four inches of legroom define the two-seat cockpit. Ceramic heat and sound insulation, Vintage Air climate control, Dakota Digital instruments, and an Alpine touchscreen stereo further enhance the car’s refined cabin.

At the heart of the build is a modern 6.2-liter Gen V LT1 V8 equipped with a GM Performance Parts Hot Cam, DeWitts aluminum radiator, and stainless steel exhaust system with rectangular finishers. Paired with a 4L60 four-speed automatic transmission, the LT1 delivers contemporary V8 performance through a powder-coated Art Morrison GT chassis featuring independent front suspension and a multi-link rear arrangement. Hyperco adjustable coilovers, upgraded Corvette disc brakes, and 19-inch Curtis Speed chrome wheels complete the extensively modernized running gear. Raptor Liner undercoating provides long-term protection from road wear.

Replacement valve seals were installed in September 2023 and a recent annual service in August 2026 lends this Corvette ready for show or turnkey use. The vehicle is offered with its key set and a seller’s disclosure detailing its condition and any known shortcomings. A current odometer reading of 523 miles reflects mileage added since refurbishment. Blending the unmistakable character of a 1959 Corvette with the sophistication of modern LT1 drivetrain, bespoke chassis engineering, and a thoughtfully appointed interior, this extensively reimagined American sports car presents an appealing opportunity for enthusiasts seeking vintage style with modern drivability.
